Does benefit's ooh la lift work well on darker skin tones?

I am an African American with small dark brown eyes. I have been searching for something to make them pop because i wear semi thick black glasses. I heard a lot of great and negative reviews about this product and i'm not really sure. I know it's a light pink and i don't want it to be too noticeable on my nut brown skin, but i really want to highlight my eyes so they would pop. I'm also considering false eyelashes to help bring my eyes out more, but i don't want to wear them everyday. I don't ave any dark circle or wrinkles under my eyes or on my eyelids.Does it last a long time Cuz i heard it disappears quickly. Plz help me out because i really don't want to spend $22 on something that doesn't work and disappears quickly.
