I have a problem with my neighbor?

ok soo i had a friend named john butle whos my neighbor which is now extremely annoying, but anyways he is friends with my friends that ive had since ooh lets say about 8 and we got really nasty at each other, john usually the agresser and now he has spread lies throughout my friends and now most of them wont come out and dont talk to me, AND ITS SUMMER, which sucks. Please help.
