Is it normal for a guy that "likes" you to ignore you?

I don't want to give out names so I'll just go by girl1 and girl 2 and stuff like that. Girl 1 and I stopped being friends. After that guy 1 started talking to her a lot more my reaction "Who cares". So I sat at a new table and they were like, "Ooh! You the girl that guy 1 likes!" and I sort of like him too. But he keeps talking to Girl 1 and really won't talk to me. I asked him to sit at my table. He did for 10 minutes then went back to the other table. Oh and Girl 2 the one that said guy 1 likes me said he's only being nice to girl 1. Do you think he really likes me?
