My husband is helping his work "friend" out and I don't get why..Please help me understand !?

Your husband just feels sorry for this man for whatever the reason and you simply do not share the level of concern. I don't know how long this will last but your husband should have some more respect for your feelings. Start doing what is necessary to show your husband what he's doing to you and to your relationship.
